Adelaide’s environmental underbelly tours
Ever wanted to learn more about the environmental issues you hear and read about by seeing them firsthand and meeting with the people behind the scenes. Greenline have created a series of tours which will leave you feeling a little uneasy but mostly inspired as you come to understand just what is happening to our land and water resources. So get a group together and give us a call. Tours range from half to full day and start from $30.00 per person (some Local Council’s will subsidise costs by arrangement). Tours are not suitable for children under 12 and are subject to weather conditions.

Get up close and personal with the issues you’ve only read about. Meet some of the scientists who are monitoring the region and what they are looking for. Learn about some issues that don’t always make it to the front page of the newspaper and why you should have as much cause for concern as those who live and work in the region. (FULL DAY)

Join us on an exploration of Adelaide’s Mount Lofty Ranges Watershed, find out what sets us apart from other Australian water supply catchments and why when you turn on the tap you are an integral part of the system. Look back over the plains from the coast to the hills and you will see the unique geographic characteristics of Adelaide that need to be better understood in order for us to find a more sensitive and sustainable way for us to live within the water cycle.
