Jade Ballantine
DIRECTOR,
PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
Bachelor of Environmental Management (Honours), Bachelor of Arts Legal Studies & EnglishJade has over ten years experience working for both Local (City of Port Adelaide Enfield and City of Holdfast Bay) and State Government (Environment Protection Authority) in environmental management, protection, policy, planning and development assessment capacities. She has a specialist understanding and knowledge of environment protection legislation for community, business and government. Her experience and skill in formulating environmental management systems and developing tailored auditing and training programs are highly regarded. She herself has authored and assisted development of state wide environment protection policy, codes of practice and guidelines for a variety of target audiences. She has faced angry mobs with success whilst conducting consultation processes and saved organisations money by recommending the most effective environment protection actions.
Jade is highly regarded for her warm and engaging training and presentation skills. Although having a strong regulatory background, she believes mostly in education and translating the science of environmental problems into practical terms for all to appreciate and hopefully act upon. Her stories of policing polluters are very entertaining and alarming all at the same time. She has seen the best and worst of our social, economic and environmental behaviours.

Chad Ballantine
COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Bachelor of Multimedia (Media Production)Chad has five years experience in communicating environmental messages, he knows how to package material that is both informative and engaging. With no formal training in environmental management, Chad is a great sounding board for Greenline’s work in community education, participation and consultation. He is as passionate as the rest of the crew in protecting our environment but let’s us know when our scientific language or tech speak is detrimental to the process of seeking behaviour change.
Chad’s information technology skills are leading edge and intensely valuable to almost all our projects. His wit and dry sense of humour keeps the office vibrant and this translates into the way we go about delivering our services.
